After more than twelve years in the glamping industry and listening to thousands of customers, we poured everything we’ve learned into our most refined tent yet — the Better Bell.

Inspired by the iconic petal-based tent silhouettes that emerged in the 1970s from legendary American tent designer Bill Moss, the Better Bell draws on a long-established design lineage while adding the features today’s glampers actually want: dual porchways, panoramic Stargazing roof panels, generous standing room and an enormous usable interior.

And enormous really does mean enormous. The 6m / 20ft Better Bell is approximately 60% larger than our 5m / 16ft model, with 14 sides and enough floor space to comfortably accommodate up to eight single beds — making it an exceptional choice for glamping businesses, retreats, events and seriously luxurious camping.

Sleep under the stars

The Better Bell’s signature 360° Stargazing roof features transparent panels around the upper canopy, giving you spectacular views of the night sky from inside your tent.

When you want shade and privacy, simply attach the supplied clip-on sunshade panels.

Two generous porchways create sheltered entrances on opposite sides of the tent, improving airflow and making the space far more versatile — particularly for commercial glamping setups.

There’s something pretty magical about a fire inside a canvas tent.

Our 5.5kW carbon-steel wood-burning stove transforms your Better Bell into a cosy retreat and extends the season well beyond summer. It’s brilliant for creating ambience, keeping warm on chilly New Zealand nights and providing an off-grid cooking surface.

Regularly warming your tent can also help reduce the damp conditions that encourage condensation and mould during New Zealand’s wetter months.

And while installing a tent stove can sound daunting, we’ve made the process straightforward with a purpose-designed stove jack and the components you need to get started.
